# Vehicles

> The fleet register of individual vehicles.

The register of individual vehicles in the project. A grid of the fleet, with a detail drawer
for each vehicle showing readings and current configuration (mounted components).

## Creating vehicles

Vehicles are created in the application, either one at a time or in bulk.
A vehicle cannot be created before its [vehicle type](/pages/vehicle-types) exists.

## Roles

Reading is available to **Asset Manager**. Creating and editing vehicles requires **Project
Admin**.
