Due statuses

For each vehicle-or-component and task, usage since the last completed record is compared against the task’s interval and tolerances:

Calculations

This differs by interval type :

Secondary intervals and task types

Where a task has a secondary interval, the more severe of the two statuses wins — the “whichever comes first” rule. If the secondary cannot be evaluated, the primary stands.
  • One-time tasks are a simple “has it ever been done”: NOT DUE if a record exists, DUE otherwise.
  • Seasonal tasks read NOT DUE outside their window, and behave exactly like recurring tasks inside it. The window handles year wrapping, so October-to-March works.

Tasks and their intervals are defined on Maintenance Plan.
